The Brief

Berkeley Homes commissioned us to design and deliver a two-bedroom show apartment in Bethnal Green. Their vision was to create a sophisticated and luxurious interior that would resonate with professional and couples seeking a stylish, contemporary home within this vibrant part of the city.

Our design approach focused on balancing elegance with comfort, ensuring the apartment felt both aspirational and welcoming. We curated a rich, layered colour palette to add depth and warmth, combining tactile materials, refined finishes, and bespoke furnishings to elevate the sense of luxury.

Maximising space was central to the brief, from furniture placement to built-in joinery, every detail was carefully considered to enhance openness and functionality.

The Design

We crafted a rich, layered colour palette featuring deep, earthy tones contrasted with soft neutrals and touches of metallic accents to create a visual balance and warmth. High-quality materials such as marble, brushed brass, and velvet were introduced to convey a sense of luxury, alongside dark woods to inject richness and sophistication.

Spatial planning played a crucial role in maximising functionality and flow throughout the apartment. Every piece of furniture was selected or custom-made to fit perfectly within the space, ensuring comfort without compromising openness. Bespoke built-in joinery provided clever storage solutions to each room for a clean and sophisticated aesthetic.

We also focused heavily on the sensory experience, injecting layered ambient lighting to the bespoke joinery alongside soft scented diffusers and tactile fabrics.

Result
